The place has an amazing view and surrounding. With the beautiful Istanbul cloudy weather it’s perfect place to be. Yet the whole thing changed when the Turkish coffee arrived with a lipstick print on the mug (clearly shown in the picture). The manager didn’t react or even apologize when the waiter reported it to him. Worth visiting.
Only had 2 nights in the Palace but what a hotel. Stunning. Simply stunning. Fantastic rooms. Everything you could possibly want. There are some great shops in the hotel also with designer goods. The restaurants were phenomenal. I can see why the rich and famous choose here to stay in Istanbul. If I'm ever back, I know exactly where I'll be staying. Fantastic views over the busy shipping lanes of the bosphorus. I could sit outside and watch this forever. Staff were so nice and attentive. They couldn't do enough for me.
Stunning palace. I was there just for a reception and did not have the opportunity to visit the rooms. However considering the part of the palace that I had access, was a great experience. Food and beverage was great as well even considering a huge number of people that was served!
We went there to have coffee and dessert and it was a nice experience. Coffee and dessert are delicious. We made a reservation via the attached phone number in Google Maps. I want to thank the employee ((Melisa)) as she was kind, helpful and welcoming to tourists. I recommend trying the place. In addition, all the staff speak English👍🏻❤️
Despite arriving late due to some errands on the check-in day, the staff went out of their way to make our experience memorable. The Ladies in Red followed us and provided a brief explanation of the hotel facilities, knowing that we were short on time. The room facilities were of excellent quality, and we had everything we could ask for. However, the breakfast the next day left much to be desired. While the breakfast room looked beautiful, and the front desk staff were proactive and approachable, the staff working inside seemed to be openly discussing food quality and quantity issues in front of guests. I overheard both senior and junior staff members discussing the quantity of food and expressing concerns about the manager noticing certain aspects of the buffet. This did not contribute positively to the dining experience. Some disappointments included the absence of pork products, which was a letdown. Additionally, Turkish traditional sausage, sucuk, was served cold, which is traditionally consumed warm. Everything on the buffet seemed to be in limited quantities, as if the staff were hesitant to offer more. This made the presentation unappealing. The sparkling wine was in short supply and not replenished. There were no toasts available, and we had to ask for them. When we ordered toasts, no one asked how we preferred them, and the same went for tea. Options for milk were not highlighted, and the staff appeared hesitant to interact with guests. Surprisingly, the butter was hidden behind compost, which raised questions about its accessibility compared to the readily available compost. Overall, the breakfast experience was disappointing and lacked appeal.
