  • Metro: Trains depart from the airport every 15-25 minutes to Doukissis Plakentias station, where you can transfer to the Athens Metro network. The metro line 3 (blue) runs from the city center to the airport, with trains departing every 30 minutes, and it takes about 40 minutes.
  • Suburban Railway: From Doukissis Plakentias station, you can take the suburban railway train that departs every 15-25 minutes and get to the airport. The suburban railway connects the airport with the Piraeus port via the Athens Central Railway Station (Larissa Station).
  • Bus: The X95 bus is the most suitable for direct transportation from the city center (Syntagma) to the airport. The buses run 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Taxi: Taxis are available at the designated waiting area located between exit 2 and exit 3 at the arrivals gate.
  • Car: The airport is easily accessible via the Athens Ring Road (Attiki Odos), and the drive from downtown Athens takes 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
